Introducing the Torbay Singers

The Torbay Singers is a chamber choir that has been performing in South Devon for over 40 years.  Based in Torquay, the group welcomes members from all over South Devon and performs a varied and exciting programme.

Under the guidance of our Musical Director Tina Guthrie, the choir goes from strength to strength with recent successes including Ramirez's exotic Navidad Nuestra, Bach's awe-inspiring B minor Mass and Brahms's sumptuous German Requiem.

June 2012

Our next concert combines spirit and spirituals in ravishing, moving music by three English composers, all leading lights of their generations. 

23rd June 2012, 7.30pm - All Saints Church, Cary Avenue, Babbacombe.

Tickets: £10 (adults). Accompanied under-16s are admitted free. Tickets are available from choir members or by phoning 01803 867872.

Singing with us

The Torbay Singers are always pleased to hear from potential new members - especially tenors.  We currently have a waiting list for sopranos, altos and basses. We are an auditioned choir and new members must audition for the Musical Director before being admitted into the choir.
